WHAT TO EXPECT

At Helen McDaniel Portrait Studio, we believe in capturing the true essence of your family by creating happy and fun-filled moments. Our motto is simple- natural smiles all the way! Our experienced photographer, Helen has been capturing families and kids of all ages for over a decade, so you can trust her to make your entire family comfortable during your shoot.

Our studio has a friendly and relaxed vibe and is designed to capture the most beautiful images of your family. We’ve got you covered with the latest equipment, stunning props, and beautiful backgrounds to create portraits that you’ll treasure for a lifetime.

We know the struggle of taking little ones somewhere new, and we feel you! So we’ve made sure that our studio is as child-friendly as possible. Kids can kick back, relax, and be themselves with snacks, cuddles, or whatever it takes to get that perfect shot. We’ve even got plenty of parking space right at the door and easy access for prams!

PROPS & PETS

WHAT TO BRING

Pets are very welcome in Helen McDaniel Portrait Studio! Those furry little friends are well and truly part of the family and so we believe they should be in your family portrait.

We also love props! What do you love to do as a family? Is there a hobby or sport that really defines who you are? What makes your little ones faces light up? Bring it all along for your portrait session! It makes for absolutely unique and truly personal portraits.

ORDERING APPOINTMENT

HOW IT WORKS

Once your portrait session has taken place, you will return to our studio 1-2 weeks later to view a beautiful presentation of all the best images from your session. Trevor, our portrait design consultant, will guide you through the process of choosing how to display your gorgeous images in your home.

Please note, as we are a fine art studio, we don’t sell digital images, or losse prints. We specialise in beautiful wall portraits and other presentation products so your images will be preserved for many years to come in the form of gorgeous handcrafted physical items.

Your beautiful portraits will be ready within 4-6 weeks of ordering, then you can pick them up and hang them where they belong – on the walls of your home for you to admire for generations to come!
