Hi there, I’m Helen McDaniel, an award winning family portrait photographer located in the lovely Lisburn!
Together with my better half, Trevor, we make Helen McDaniel Portrait Studio a real family affair! While I’m busy capturing your enchanting family memories, Trevor is assisting with the selection of your favorite shots, then working with you to design custom wall portraits that’ll leave everyone in awe.
Along with the lovely Clare and Francesca, our diary management staff, we make a fab team. We are all friendly and welcoming, and strive to make your family portrait session a really relaxed and enjoyable experience.Β

Did you know we used to be called Precious Photography Studio? We took the decision in May 2023 to rebrand to Helen McDaniel Portrait Studio.
We decided to incorporate Helen’s family name in the business name as we believe that photography is such a personal service and we really enjoy getting to know all the lovely families we meet. Moreover, Helen’s late Granda Tom McDaniel was a keen photographer who encouraged her to pursue her passion for photography as a child.
As a tribute to Helen’s Granda’s love for photography, this is a photograph that he took of her as a child. (They did have colour photography back then, she’s not that old!)
